BATTLE OF THE BAND: HOW TO ACHIEVE BACK TO BACK WIN

Hey there folks!!! Its been such a long time I wasnt able to update this blog huh… reason? Busy because of this… Check this out…

The Necrologist had formed a band for the sake of joining the contest of the Battle of the Band in a certain college wherein he is currently employed… by the way, Necrologist is a college instructor teaching computer subjects as well as business management subjects (that was)…

It was Foundation Week Celebration of the college that was held just last first week of September 2008.. blah! blah! blah!

Fast forward, the band was composed of 2 female students which serves as the bands vocalists then 5 male students on the same school ofcourse.

The Necrologist had chosen 3 music pieces for the competition and the following are.. if you’re familiar with them:

First Song by KC Conception entitled “Imposible” …
Second Song by the Imago BAnd entitled “Taralets” these songs perfectly fit for the band’s two female vocalist…
Then the Finale Songs was by Bamboo called “Noypi” which was sung by the band’s male vocalist.

Not much about the guitarist because it was his first gig as well as the keyboardist. For the little drummer boy, he was able to had this kind of experience for the past years and then the bassist, his second year…

Hey! Hey! Hey! Check this out!!! They won the competition!!! and not just that, its back to back!!!!!!!! The band had already won the competition last year and it was repeated this year once again.

You may wonder how the band gain such success… Simple…

Just like what my guitar master (EVIL MUFFIN: Paolo Artemiio David Blaquera) said to me… “Constant Practice” plus… disclipine and guts… There should be a single leader in a band, make the band make their mind common to each other
so that it would be easy for them to unite… for that success would be the the final output.
