Those lyrics of the song called “Angel of Death” by Slayer….

This band or their music was introduced to me by our drummer.. Ramson… who is now a Sea Man. It was a cassette tape then that he told me to listen to… maybe three to five days until then that I intend to listen to that greasy cassettee.

It was one mornin with hangover and tried to eat my breakfasr while gulping lots of water because of a bit dehydration. I put on the stereo, rewind the cassette tape first to its very start and then played. Man… was a nice tool for wakin’ up… I like it right away that I felt I was energized by the Slayers music. Maybe a week to two I play that cassette tape every time I woke up until such time that my Mom was annoyned and forced me to stop that @!#in’… music!!! Well what can I do? Well I just obeyed her coz I might not get my allowance for school if I don’t follow her… I even planned during that time to bought a new set of string for my electric guitar because were gonna have an upcoming gig on one of the neighborhood.

Necrologist Presents: The Legendary JOEY "PEPE" SMITH - "Rock n’ Roll Man!!!

Hey dudes… Filipino Rockers definitely knows him… especially the old schoolsss. Joey “Pepe” Smith… Member of the Legendary band called “Juan Dela Cruz Band” famous in the Philippines during the 70’s era, together with Mike Hanopol and Wally Gonzales and Chino de Dios, they are the pioneers of Pinoy Rock n Roll, the very first.

There was this interview on them that as they started their band and play rock n roll music, neighborhood found it weird and destucting… but for the hippies… peace man!!! that was such a great music… it was then because of Juan dela Cruz Band… a lot followed playing rock n roll music then like Sampaguita and the others.

Songs like Beep Beep(Beep of Jeep’s Horn), Balong Malalim(A Deep Well) and Ang Himig Natin (Our Tunes) popularized the band and till today, those songs where still being played in the gigs or local radio stations.

Necrologist Presents: Led Zeppelin’s Robert Plant and Jimi Page

Hey there folks… Long Live Rock n Roll!!! I got couple of new wallpaper for you guys… its Jimi Page and Robert Plant of Led Zeppelin…….. And she’s buyin a stairway to … heaven.. Such a nice song they’d got.

I first heard their song on my uncle’s cassette player way back early 80’s, though they where so famous during the 70’s… those are the things I missed, wish I was a teenager during that time so that I able to enjoy their music well as well as the good o’l times of the 70’s.

Songs such as Black Dog, Stairway to Heaven and my personal favorite Immigrant Song was so nice to listen especially while you’re drivin a car (a bettle of my dad or my motorcycle).

Well all I try to enjoy these days are the videos they had on their gigs and concerts… man… those people who able to attend their concerts were so lucky. Till today I never get tired of listenen to them… high tones… simple, plain guitar licks… that would complete my day.
